The Snake
Having a snake with an innocent face and the eyes of a python get close
And slowl encircle your body
Engulfing you in what you take as friendliness and warmth
Taking its time to enjoy the feel of your flesh and idiocy
As it knows it’s in charge
Is like me receive a hug from my mother.
Snakes become your friend beforre they constrict you
Stealing the life from your lungs
Dimming the light in your eyes
Just like my abhorrent mother
Who forever devours my soul
And steals my happiness.
